Outstanding Students of America Application Type or print plainly. Please check one of the following:( ) I am submitting this application to be considered for a $1000.00 scholarship from Outstanding Students of America. My status is a high school senior. I understand I must submit a biography and an essay with application. The biography must be in bullet form (see web site for sample bio) and should list all community service, school activities, and academic achievements. The essay should highlight 1 or 2 activities or community services listed on the bio. The essay must be double spaced and no more than 1 page. The essay should also answer the question “Why I feel I need/deserve this scholarship”. By applying for the scholarship I understand I am automatically being considered for the honor of Outstanding Student of America. I also understand I must submit a long (business size) self-addressed stamped envelope. I understand if I omit any of the mentioned documents or envelope, my application will be voided. I understand I will be notified by mail at the end of November of my status as an Outstanding Student of America and my status in the scholarship process. I understand there is absolutely no fee associated with this application process. ( ) I am submitting this application as a high school freshman, sophomore, junior (or senior who does not want to apply for the scholarship). I am submitting this application to be considered as an “Outstanding Student of America”. The award will be based on my community service, school activities, and academic achievements. I must submit a biography (sample on web site) listing my community service, school activities, and academic achievements. I understand I will be notified at the end of November if I have achieved this honor; and I will have the opportunity to be featured in a publication along with my biography. I understand there is no fee associated with this application process. Application must include a long self-addressed stamped envelope so we may notify you of your acceptance/denial as an Outstanding Student of America. You will receive your notification letter at the end of November. The envelope is required to help us contain cost so we will have more funds available for scholarships. Omitting envelope will void your application.

The deadline is a postmarked date of October 15. Scholarships are available to high school seniors only. Scholarships are not available after a student has graduated.
